This is an introduction page for Minshuku Kato, a lodging in Narai-juku. The Edo-period building, often described as an eel's bed because of its depth, has a long corridor extending to the back with a depth equivalent to three ordinary houses. Dinner features vegetables from their own farm and wild mountain vegetables and mushrooms from the Narai mountains. It is a homey inn proud of its mother's cooking, including the popular pumpkin dumplings.
